Monitoring Air Quality

Indoor air quality (IAQ) significantly impacts health, comfort, and productivity. Poor IAQ can lead to various health issues, ranging from minor discomfort to serious respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. It can also affect concentration, potentially reducing productivity in workplaces and homes. 

High CO2 levels in offices and homes can lead to decreased productivity, drowsiness, headaches, and other health issues, as well as contribute to sick building syndrome. Monitoring CO2 levels can also  bring awareness to the presence of airborne mould.

Air quality tests must be undertaken by a trained technician who will use specialised meters to gather information.  We can undertake tests realtime, both remotely or with a survey visit 

Indoor dust can cause various health problems. It's a mix of particles that can trigger allergies, respiratory issues, and potentially even more serious conditions. Dust contains allergens like dust mites, mold spores, and pet dander, which can worsen existing respiratory conditions. Furthermore, some dust particles can be small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs, causing respiratory and cardiovascular problems. 

Testing remotely is an option to test over a longer timescale for complicated issues, as air quality can vary by hour, day, week and monthly.  In short, in some cases to get a correct results the technician would need to be on station 24hr a day, every day and thats what remote monitoring does.

High TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) levels in indoor air can indicate a potential health risk and are often associated with mould of various sources, including building materials, cleaning products, and even human presence.
